Bearish Points (6)

Valuation Risk chevron_right

Elevated Quarterly P/S Ratio

The Price-to-Sales (P/S) ratio for Q1 2025 is 6.5, and for Q4 2024 is 4.9. While the annual P/S ratios are lower (1.3 for 2024, 1.6 for 2023), these higher quarterly figures might suggest a premium being placed on recent revenues that could be difficult to sustain.

Profitability & Margins chevron_right

Negative Net Margin in Q3 2024

AT&T Inc. reported a negative net margin of -0.6% in Q3 2024, indicating a temporary period of unprofitability despite positive revenue. While overall annual net margins are positive, this quarterly dip warrants attention.
